Half Term Holidays
Well then, here I am in Scotland.
It was a hellish journey getting here, nearly a 10 hour drive! Some guy's car broke down on this section of motorway which had only one lane. A rescue car had to reverse 3 miles down that lane to reach that car and take it away. That took about 1½ hours and after that, the cars started to move again. Except for one car, and therefore the hundreds of cars behind that one also weren't moving, including us. The old bloke driving it had become ill! They had to get an ambulance in which cost us another 50 minutes or so! But we got to Glasgow in the end at about 7:30 pm, and went straight to the New Anand, a curry house. It was delicious! There was a great buffet selection and I ate as much as I could. We then drove up to my gran's house where we'll be staying the next few nights.
So it's 5:30 pm on Sunday, and I'm at the house of my uncle Frank, aunt Anne, and cousins Neil, Dan and Fiona. I have recently beaten Neil at a game of backgammon, a game of snooker, and two games of table-tennis. Well, he is only nine...
I should be coming back to England on Wednesday, but possibly Thursday, so I'm sure I'll speak to you then abouts.
Have fun and keep enjoying your half term.
