The Birthday of the Ross-face!

¡Hoy es mi cumpleaños!

Aujourd'hui c'est mon anniversaire!

It's my birthday today!

Jeez, how many languages do you want it in?

Me birthday today!

But yeah. 28th November, 2005! Ross (me) is 15 today!

Doesn't really feel any different to being 14 to be honest.
In case you were wondering (which you weren't), this is the order in which people wished me a happy birthday:
  1. Lizzie
  2. Mum
  3. Dad
  4. Nick
  5. Fin
  6. Jon
  7. Ben
  8. Chris
  9. Sam
  10. Laura
  11. Hope

Dunno how it goes after that...

Well, I got £80 cash, £12.50 Amazon voucher and a bunch of stuff including Red Dwarf VII DVD and a lolly with real gold in it!

What I have decided to do from this year on, is to film a short video every year on my birthday so I can see how I age over time. It's not so much funny, as it will be interesting in a few years.

Well, looking for any interesting news? I've got nothing...

Cambridge gone, computer still to come!

So I went to Cambridge last Saturday with Joe, Mike, Laura and Laura to meet up with Hannah and just wander around. Went to BK in Stevenage before we got on the train (Anyone who knows me should know what BK is. Even if you don't know me, come on...) in which me, Mike and Joe all had a Bacon Double Cheeseburger meal, Joe going for the wimpy "medium" meal option, not the "super" meal option that me and Mike had.

Then we met up with Laura and Laura on the platform of Stevenage station to get the train up to Cambridge.

So we spent the day in Cambridge, not really doing much. I was wanting to go to a shop called the Fudge Kitchen as I had been to one of the same chain in Windsor, and loved it! So I got some fudge from there. A few hours later, we went to an American-themed restaurant called the Filling Station for dinner. Steak fajitas for me. Sizzling goodness! After that I phone up my brother Gavin to see if he was around, and he was, so I agreed to meet him just outside Trinity College (where he sort of lives, and he's in his third and possibly final year of it) for a quick chat. After that we wandered around for another hour or two. We got into line for the cinema, with some slight derière-feeling going on but you'll have to ask Mike about that for details. I wasn't involved in any way myself, just to let you know. We changed our minds about the cinema so found some benches in a shopping center place and talked for a while, before getting a train back to Stevenage, and a lift back to WGC from Mike's parents.

I went to Mike's house overnight. Not like that. God. We watched a few episodes of Scrubs and also the Naked Gun. A very funny movie which I strongly recommend to all. I also learned how to play the first bit of "Old MacDonald" on his guitar, which I'm pretty proud of.

So, onto current issues. Slavery. Nah. New computers. More like it!

We've ordered a new Dell computer which should arrive within the next few months.
1 gb RAM
320 gb hard drive
3.4 ghz processor
256 mb GeForce 6800 graphics card
19" flat panel monitor

That sounds about right.
Sweet.

Cambridge on Saturday, I await!

Haven't posted in a while, but I'm still here!

Me, Mike and Joseph are going up to Cambridge on Saturday to meet up with Hannah J. and have a day wandering around Cambridge. Laura and Laura may also be going, but I'm not too sure of the exact details.

So our form had a cake sale today to raise money for the earthquake appeal. I didn't do much except help set the tables up at the beginning, and shouted at people who passed by ordering to buy some cakes. I'm not sure how much money we raised, but at the extortionate rate the cakes and biscuits were being sold at, we probably made a killing.

Everybody check out Google Video, it's a free online video storage utility created by Google (obviously). Type in Ross Johnstone to find all of the movies I've uploaded. The ones that look good with some OK visual effects in are the recent ones, and pretty much every other one is about two years old, possibly with some rubbish visual effects in, but mostly just me and my brother mucking around. Watch them, they're funny. If there are only 8 actually there when you search for Ross Johnstone, don't worry, because I've uploaded about 10 more and they'll be up there in a few days.

You can also search for Nick Mizon and Ben Diamond and you'll get a few results on them too. In a few days you should also be able to get at least one result for N Reiners and F Watkinson.

I'd be interested to hear about you uploading your own videos, which I'd love to see! So give it a go, and tell me what to search for.

P.S. My birthday in 18 days! (The 28th Nov.) I hope you're remembering to buy me a present! Or at least give me a hug, depending on who you are...
